This impressive IHI CCH1500-2 belongs to Yew Choon from Singapore (SG) and is mainly used as assist crane on their yard. It is a 150-tonne crawler crane.
The crane is powered by a Hino EF750, a 16.75-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 205 kW (275 hp). In total is the diesel engine powering six hydraulic pumps.
The tracks should be separated from the body for the transport. A single track is 8.84 meters long, 1.07 meters wide and 1.27 meters tall. The mass each is 18 tonnes.
Attached to the body are four hydraulic jacks.
The undercarriage is 8.84 meters long and 7.07 meters wide.
Attached to the superstructure is a five-part counterweight with a 56 tonne mass, the counterweight has a 6.24 meter tailswing. The counterweight exists out of a 16 tonne base plate, two 15-tonne slabs and two smaller 5-tonne slabs.
The A-frame has a total height of 8.6 meters.
The main boom has an 18 meter base length and can be extended in 3 meter steps to a maximum length of 81 meters. Here is the crane fitted with a 36 meter length.
The crane is fitted with two 11-tonne hoist winches, which are both in use here. Each winch is fitted with 28 mm hoist wire rope.
