This impressive IHI CCH2000 was parked in a storage yard of Tat Hong in Singapore (SG). It is a 200-tonne crawler crane.

The carrier is 8.835 metres long and 7.07 metres wide. For transport on public roads, the crawler tracks are separated from the body; a single crawler track is 8.835 metres long, 1.07 metres wide and 1.27 metres high.

53 tonnes of ballast are mounted on the superstructure, and the ballast has a swing radius of 6.24 metres. The ballast consists of a 17-tonne base plate with three blocks on top of it; two blocks of 11 tonnes and one 14-tonne block in the middle.

The A-frame has a total height of 8.39 metres. For transport on public roads, the A-frame can be folded down.

The crane is powered by a Hino EF750, a 16.75-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 202 kW (275 hp). The diesel engine drives a total of six hydraulic pumps.

The main boom has a base length of 18 metres and a maximum length of 84 metres. Here, both 11-tonne hoist winches are in use; the hooks used are rated for 200 tonnes and an 11-tonne single hook.

Here, the crane was erected with a 27-metre main boom. A very fine and rugged crane from Tat Hong!
