IHI CCH2000 - Smith

This sharp IHI CCH2000 belongs to Smith from Christchurch (NZ) and was used at their storage yard near Auckland (NZ) as yard crane. It is a 200-tonne crawler crane.

The crane is powered by a Hino EF750, a 16.745-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 205 kW (275 hp).

The undercarriage has a width of 7.07 meters.

Attached to the undercarriage is a total of 16 tonnes of central counterweight, each side an 8-tonne block.

The tracks are 8.84 meters long, 1.07 meters wide and 1.27 meters tall. Their mass each is 18 tonnes.

Attached to the superstructure is a total of 56 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight has a 6.24 meter tailswing.

The main boom has an 18 meter length and can be increased in three-metre steps to a maximum length of 84 meters.

The crane was fitted here with a 42 meter main boom. In this configuration is the crane able to lift 70 tonnes on a 11 meter radius or 14 tonnes to a 37.9 meter radius.
