This impressive Grove RT650E belongs to Mayer from Burgberg (DE). It is a 45-tonne RT crane that was used pre-owned and before was working with Wasel.
The crane is mounted on a large 2-axle undercarriage and is driven and operated from a single cabin. The undercarriage is 7.75 meters long and 3.03 meters wide. The crane has a basic mass of 32.5 tonnes.
The outrigger base measures 6.78 x 6.86 meters, of half 6.78 x 4.88 meters.
The main boom has a 10.1 meter base length and extends three times to a maximum length of 32 meters. Over the full main boom is the crane able to lift 8.32 tonnes. Optionally is the main boom extendable by an 8.8 or 15.5 meter bi-fold swingaway jib.
Between the two axles is the large dieseltank installed. The crane is powered by a Cummins QSB 6.7 liter diesel engine with a power of 129 kW (173 hp).
The counterweight has a 5.55 tonne mass and has a 3.92 meter tailswing.
