Grove GMK5130 - Löwenthal

This Grove GMK5130 of Löwenthal is usually working in the Allgäu Skyline Park in Bad Wörishofen (DE) to assemble or dismantle theme park rides. It is a 130-tonne crane with year of manufacture 1999.

The 5-axle undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 442 LA, an 8-cylinder watercooled diesel engine with a power of 370 kW (496 hp). This crane has the optional 10x8x10-drive line where the axles 2 to 5 are powered and all axles are steerable.

The 5-part main boom has a maximum length of 50.5 meters. Optionally is the 10/16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib that is mountable under a 0, 16 or 30 degree angle.

The maximum counterweight of the crane weights 27 tonnes and has a 4.255 meter tailswing. 3.2 tonnes of counterweight remains installed to the superstructure.
