Kranprofis from Pforzen (DE) is operating this sharp Grove GMK3060, a 60-tonne telescopic crane installed on a 3-axle undercarriage.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 260 kW (354 hp). This crane has the standard 6x4x6-drive line, with the two rear axles driven and all axles can be steered.
In transport mode is the crane 11.1 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.66 meters high. The transport mass of the crane is approx. 36 tonnes.
The 6-part main boom has a 9.6 meter base length and extends five times to a total length of 43 meters. The main boom can be extended by a 8.7 / 15 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib.
Next to the main boom is a small fixed jib attached.
The outrigger base measures 6.825 x 6.2 meters, or half 6.825 x 4.4 meters. During the transport over the road remains 1 tonne counterweight on the undercarriage.
The full counterweight of the crane weights 13.6 tonnes and has a 3.22 meter tailswing. The crane brings 7.6 tonnes of counterweight, the remaining parts must be transported on a trailer or should be delivered by truck.
Next to the main boom is the cable reel with hydraulic hoses for the hydraulic jib installed.
At the back of the crane are a box for outrigger woods and a heavy tow coupling attached.
The heavy coupling is to tow the 1-axle Hilse trailer, loaded with the remaining 6 tonnes of counterweight.
A very sharp crane in the fresh colours of Kranprofis!
