This sharp Grove GMK5130-2 of Keller Bauunternehmung AG from Rheineck (CH) stood on a construction site in Oberriet (CH) and was used for the erection of a steel construction.
It is a 130-tonne crane on a 5-axle undercarriage. The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 375 kW (502 hp). This crane has the optional 10x8x10-drive line, where the axles 2 to 5 are powered and all axles are steerable.
During the transport over the road is the crane 15 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 3.95 meters high. The transport mass is 60 tonnes including 11 tonnes of counterweight.
The Grove GMK5130-2 is fitted with the same cabin that Mercedes-Benz used on multiple Actros models.
The outrigger base measures 7.8 meters in length and 7.5 meters in width. The width is adjustable and multiple positions can be used, like 6.7, 5.9 and 5.1 meters.
At the rear of the chassis is a large box for spreader woods and some lifting gear installed. During the transport over the road are the large outrigger plats transported on top of the box.
Here stood the crane erected with 23.5 tonnes of counterweight, the full counterweight weights 40.1 tonnes. To complete the counterweight are another 5 tonne slab and two 5.8-tonne hang-on slabs required. The counterweight has a tailswing of 4.36 meters.
The 6-part main boom has a 12.9 meter base length and extends five times to a total length of 60 meters. The crane has a 7-tonne hoist winch with a 19 mm hoist cable.
A sharp crane in the fresh colours of Keller!
