This impressive Grove RT9130E was used by Hiap Tong on their yard in Singapore (SG) as a yard crane. It is a 120-tonne rough-terrain crane mounted on a 2-axle carrier.
The cabin is 20 degrees tiltable.
The undercarriage is 9.75 meters long and 3.8 meters wide. The crane has an operational weight of approx. 79 tonnes.
The outrigger base measures 8.84 x 8.48 meters. To reduce the transport mass is it possible to demob the outrigger boxes from the undercarriage.
In the undercarriage is the large Cummins QSC8.3L located, it is a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 224 kW (300 hp). Both axles are powered and are steerable.
Attached to the superstructure is a ballast weight with an 18.1 tonnes mass, the counterweight has a 4.36 meter tailswing. The crane is fitted with two 7.6-tonne hoist winches with a 19 mm hoist wire rope.
The 5-part main boom has a 12.8 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 48.8 meters. Optionally is the main boom to be extended by a bi-fold swingaway jib with a length of 11 - 18 meters.
