Rieger & Moser from Ulm (DE)is operating this sharp FAUN ATF 130G-5, a 130-tonne crane on a 5-axle carrier. The crane was used on a construction site in Erolzheim (DE) to install heavy precast concrete elements.
Packed is the crane 14.85 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 3.99 meters high. The transport mass is 60 tonnes.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 390 kW (530 hp). This undercarriage has the optional 10x8-drive line, where the axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 are powered. All axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures8.03 x 7.5 meters, or half 8.03 x 5.0 meters.
On the other side was the crane erected on half outrigger base.
The crane was here fitted with 29.9 tonnes of counterweight, that can be enlarged by two hang-on slabs of wach 5.3 tonnes to 40.5 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.194 meter tailswing. The crane was fitted here with a second winch that was used also. Once the winch is removed, a compensation counterweight slab with 1.5 tonnes is installed on the same spot.
On top of the main boom is a 3.8 meter long hydraulic jib installed, the jib is in angle between 0 and 40 degrees hydraulically adjustable. The jib can be extended to maximum 32 meters, where the crane can bring 18 meters by itself.
The crane has a main boom with a 12.8 meter base length and extends five times to a total length of 60 meters. During this operation the crane was working with two hooks, so that the wall elements can be transported horizontally and tilted by the crane in vertical postion for the assembly on site.
