This sharp FAUN ATF 65G-4 of P&K from Rijssen (NL) could be photographed in their yard. It is a 65-tonne crane that is mounted on a 4-axle carrier. The year of manufacture is 2009.
This crane has the optional 8x8x8-drive line, where all axles are driven and steerable. The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA, an 11.9-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 290 kW (394 hp).
The outrigger base of the crane measures 7.8 x 6.4 meters, or half 7.8 x 4.385 meters.
During the transport over the road is in total 8.9 tonnes of counterweight lowered onto the undercarriage.
At the rear of the crane is a large box attached where the crane operator can put a lot of lifting gear. On top are the outrigger pads stored. During the transport over the road is the crane 11 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.8 meters tall. The transport mass is around 48 tonnes.
Attached to the superstructure remains 5.9 tonnes, in total brings the crane 14.8 tonnes of counterweight; two slabs with each 100 kg are missing to complete the full counterweight of 15 tonnes. The counterweight has a 3.45 meter tailswing. The crane is fitted with a 4.5-tonne hoist winch with 16 mm hoist cable.
The 5-part main boom has an 11 meter base length and extends four times to a full length of 44 meters. The crane brings a 9 / 16 meter long bi-fold swingaway jib that can be mounted on a 0, 20 or 40 degree angle to the main boom head. To give the crane operator a good view from above on the work is an Orlaco camera attached to the main boom.
Below the cabin is a frame installed to store the plastic outrigged pads for the transport over the road. A sharp crane by P&K!
