FAUN ATF 65G-4 - Mick Volendam

A FAUN ATF 65G-4 of Mick from Volendam (NL), it is the biggest telescopic crane that is owned by them.

It is a 65 tonne crane on 4 axles. Packed is the crane 12.4 meters long, 2.8 meters wide and 3.8 meters high. The transport mass is about 48 tonnes with 12.5 tonnes of counterweight and the folding jib.

The outrigger base is 7.8 x 6.4 meters.

In the undercarriage is laying a Mercedes Benz OM 501 LA with 394 hp. Standard are 3 of the 4 axles driven. All axles are steerable.

The 44 meter long main boom is here fully extended. The boom is also extendable by a 16 meter folding jib.

The crane was working with a basket on an antenna to do some maintenance.

The crane was fitted with 15 tonnes of counterweight, making a 3.45 meter tailswing.
