A FAUN ATF 90G-4 of Lenz Kran from Bremerhaven (DE) used by doing some maintenance on a ship crane.
It is a 90 tonne crane on 4 axles. Packed is the crane 13.05 meters long, 2.75 meters wide and 3.925 meters heigh. The transport mass is about 48 tonnes.
The outrigger base of the crane is 8.54 x 7.2 meters, or half 8.54 x 5 meters.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz 6 cylinder diesel engine OM 501 LA with 428 hp.
The superstructure is powered by a Mercedes-Benz 4 cylinder diesel engine OM 904 LA with 174 hp.
The max. counterweight of the crane weights 22.3 tonnes. Here is the crane fitted with 21.3 tonnes, the counterweight has a 3.7 meter tailswing.
On the rear of the crane is small rack built for wood slabs, on top a small box for lifting tools. A big part of the counterweight is taken on a small 2 axle trailer, towed by the crane.
The main boom has a fully extended length of 51.2 meters, here are 44.2 meters extended. The boom is extendable with a 10 or 18 meters folding jib. Lenz Kran is owning the hydraulic jib, the jib is then adjustable between 0 and 40 degrees with reference to the main boom. On the left side of the boom the reel for the hydraulic hoses can be seen.
