FAUN ATF 60-4 - Castell
This FAUN ATF 60-4 of Castell from Koblenz (DE) was used on a construction site in Brohltal (DE). It is about a used crane, previously used by Geiger from Lahnstein (DE), hence the different colours compared to Castell, which is usually using red company colours.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 260 kW (354 hp). This crane has the optional 8x6-drive line where the last three axles are all driven. All axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 7.8 x 6.27 meters, or half 7.8 x 4.46 meters.
Packed is the crane 11.78 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.6 meters high. The crane weights 48 tonnes, this is including the 13.2 tonnes of counterweight.
The full counterweight weights 13.2 tonnes and has a 3.45 meter tailswing.
The main boom has a 10.4 meter base length and extends four times to a total length of 40.2 meters. A 9 / 16 meter long folding jib can be mounted under 0, 17 or 30 degrees.
