Erection of a gantry crane by Kim Soon Lee
Kim Soon Lee from Singapore (SG) was deploying multiple cranes for the installation of a 40-tonne gantry crane on a yard used for the production of precast concrete elements.
For the installation of the main girder werde both Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 used. Both cranes are here fitted with 11.2 tonnes of counterweight.
Both cranes have the main boom extended to a length of 22.6 meters.
The main girder has a mass of 32 tonnes, each crane is lifting here 16 tonnes.
While the main girder is lifted and kept in position by both 100-tonne cranes, is the Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 used to lift the legs below the main girder.
Kim Soon Lee operates a large fleet of Liebherr mobile cranes with a lifting capacity up to 300 tonnes.
