This impressive American 7260 is used by Werf Rhebergen in Amsterdam (NL) to lift boats from and into the water. It is a used crane from Herbosch-Kiere.
The crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 200,000 lbs (or 90.72 tonnes) on a 3.7 meter radius with a 12.2 meter main boom.
The crane is powered by a 7-liter 6-cylinder Detroit Diesel 6-71 diesel engine with a power of maximum 127 kW (170 hp).
The undercarriage is 5.96 meters long and 5.23 meters wide.
A detail of a single track that is 5.96 meters long and 1.17 meters wide. A very beautiful detail is the mechanical drive to move the tracks. For the transport over the road is it required to remove the tracks from the base frame.
The counterweight has a total weight of 49,900 lbs (or 22.64 tonnes) has a tailswing of 4.5 meters.
Once the crane is working, has the A-frame a total height of 6.27 meters. For the transport over the road is it possible to fold the A-frame down to reduce the height.
The crane is fitted with two 13.4-tonne (mechanical) hoist winches with a 25.4 mm hoist cable. In front of the two hoist winches is a 4.54 tonne auxiliary winch installed.
This crane is fitted with the hammer head tip, over this boom head is the crane able to hoist its maximum capacity. Optionally was also a lighter tapered boom head available with a maximum capacity of 69.5 tonnes. Here is the crane fitted with a 130 ft. (or 39.5 meter) long main boom, the crane can lift maximum 36.73 tonnes on a 5.7 meter radius or 3.17 tonnes on a 39.6 meter radius with this boom configuration.
The main boom has a maximum length of 180 ft. (or 54.9 meters) with this boom head. A very sharp and special crane, that can slowly get old with these kind of jobs.
