Volvo FH16 750 - Ramm und Bohr

A sharp Volvo FH16 750 of Ramm und Bohr from Großostheim (DE) stood parked during a weekend parked along the German Autobahn 7 near Illertissen (DE).

It is a 4-axle heavy haulage truck with 8x4-drive line that is powered by a Volvo D16, a 16.1-liter diesel engine, that powers here 750 hp.

Behind the front axle are the exhaust, a compressed-air tank and the AdBlue tank installed.

Behind the cabin are two compressed-air tanks, the diesel tank and a large storage compartment made.

Attached is a 7-axle Nooteboom low loader in 2-bed-5 configuration.

In the meantime is this truck replaced by a newer Volvo FH16 750 from the FH4-series.

On this side is only the muffler installed behind the front axle.

The load on the low loader is a Liebherr R 954 C excavator with a mass of around 50 tonnes.

A sharp combination that is often used to transport construction machinery.
