This sharp Volvo FH16 660 of Mayer from Burgberg (DE) stood with a 4-axle girder bridge and oversized cargo parked along the German motorway A96 near Memmingen (DE).
The truck is powered by a Volvo D16C, a 16-liter diesel engine with 660 hp. Behind the front axle are the muffler and the AdBlue tank mounted. The truck was purchased used from Wiesbauer from Bietigheim (DE).
The muffler is installed behind the front axle.
Behind the cabin are the large dieseltank and multiple storage compartments made. Multiple lights pointing to the rear are taking care for good vision in the dark.
Due to the dimensions is this transport only allowed to drive at night. The combination here is 48 meters long, 4.6 meters wide and 4.55 meters tall.
Attached is a girder bridge mounted on a 4-axle Doll dolly. The girder bridge can by Mayer be used for cargos with a maximum length of 32 meters (technically to 38 meters, but some intermediates are missing at Mayer), 6 meters wide and a mass of 40 tonnes.
The trailer was by Mayer self refurbished and repainted.
The front side of the girder bridge is mounted on the fifth wheel of the truck. The girder bridge is 1.6 meters in height adjustable.
A very sharp and impressive combination by Mayer!
