This sharp Volvo FM 480 of Martens Transport from Oosterhout (NL) was doing a short pause along the motorway A50 near Apeldoorn (NL).
The truck is this interesting Volvo FM 480 with 10x4-drive lines with lowered roof. The truck is powered by a Volvo D13A, a 12.7-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 360 kW (480 hp). Both rear axles are powered.
The cabin is nearly taller as the gooseneck of the trailer. This is to load cargos like booms of crawler cranes or the leader of a piling rig over the cabin. Behind the front axle is the AdBlue tank mounted.
Behind the cabin are the large dieseltank and a storage compartment made.
In the meantime has Martens bought a new Volvo FH16 650 with 10x4-drive line. This truck is currently not registered anymore in the Netherlands.
On this side is the muffler installed behind the front axle.
Attached is a Nooteboom Euro-83-04(P) low loader with pendel axles with year of manufacture 2014. The trailer can be loaded with 58 tonnes of cargo in the Netherlands.
The cargo is a Liebherr A 944 C material handler. The cargo is about 11 meters long, 3.6 meters wide and 3.8 meters tall. The machine weights about 40 tonnes.
A very sharp combination of Martens!
