Volvo FH 540 - Baetsen
This sharp Volvo FH 540 of Baetsen from Veldhoven (NL) stood during a weekend on a parking in Aichstetten (DE). The combination was with a cargo from Northern-Ireland on the move to Switzerland.
It is a 4-axle truck with 8x4-drive line. The truck is powered by a Volvo D13C, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a 12.8-liter stroke that powers here 540 hp. The maximum torque of 2,600 Nm is available between 1,050 and 1,450/min. Behind the front axle are the muffler and AdBlue tank installed.
Attached is a 3-axle Faymonville low loader with type STBZ-3VA. The low loader has pendel axles and can load 47.2 tonnes. The bed of the trailer is five meters extendable.
Behind the front axle is a large storage compartment made.
Behind the cabin are a large dieseltank and another three storage compartments made. Below the tank are multiple compressed-air tanks installed. Many lights take care of good vision rearwards in the dark.
The cargo is a 28.6-tonne Terex AGGWASH. The machine to wash aggregate.
