Scania 144 G 530

Verschoor from Sassenheim (NL) deployed this impressive Scania 144 G 530 for various heavy haulage operations. Here, the four-axle truck was on the road with a four-axle low-loader trailer.
The truck was built in 1999 and is nowadays no longer registered in the Netherlands.
The truck, with an 8x4 drive configuration, is powered by a Scania DSC14, a 14.2-litre 8-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 390 kW (530 hp). The diesel tank is mounted behind the front axle.
Here, the truck was travelling with a four-axle Nooteboom low-loader. The deck of the low-loader is 7.5 meters long and can be extended by 5 meters. The payload capacity of the combination is approximately 65 tonnes.
On this occasion, a Demag AC 50-1 from Aannemingsbedrijf Fraanje from Lewedorp (NL) was loaded. This crane had suffered fire damage and was being transported to the repair facility.
On another occasion, the truck was used to transport a four-axle Nooteboom flatbed trailer loaded with ballast and outrigger mats from a Krupp KMK8400. A fine and distinctive truck from Verschoor!
