Peck Tiong Choon from Singapore (SG) was using this combination, existing out of a 3-axle Scania 124 C 400 with a 2-axle low loader, to transport a heavy cargo for a tunnel boring machine (TBM) to the construction site.
The truck has a 6x4-drive that is powered by a Scania DSC12 400, an 11.7-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 298 kW (400 hp).
Attached is a 2-axle Kim Eng Seng low loader.
Behind the front axle are the battery, compressed-air tanks and a storage compartment mounted. On the other side are the diesel tank and the Euro 2 muffler mounted.
The cargo on the trailer is the main drive for a tunnel boring machine with a mass of approx. 84 tonnes.
A very sharp and tough combination of Peck Tiong Choon!
