Markus Merkle from Altenstadt (DE) is using multiple trucks for the transport of wood, like this sharp Scania R 500.
The truck is powered by a Scania DC16, a 15.6-liter diesel engine with a power of 500 hp. The truck has an extended 6x4-chassis. Behind the front axle are the muffler, AdBlue tank and diesel tank installed.
The combination has the 2-axle Hüttner dolly loaded on the rear. When the combination is loaded is the dolly connected by a cable to the truck. The lorry crane can be folded over the cabin also.
A tough combination!
