Kim Soon Lee from Singapore (SG) took in July 2022 this sharp Scania G 500 with World Power Erkin ER-265.000 L-10 lorry crane into operation. On the moment of writing is this the largest truck mounted lorry crane in Singapore!
The Scania G 500 is powered by a Scania DC13, a 13 litre 6-cylinder inline diesel engine with a power of 368 kW (500 hp). This truck has two powered rear axles.
Behind the cab are the large hydraulic oil tanks for the lorry crane mounted.
The lorry crane is mounted on top of the rear axles, the truck can't bring any cargo. The six massive outriggers give the crane in each direction sufficient stability. Behind the second axle are the battery, diesel tank and a hydraulic oil cooler installed.
On one of the rear outriggers is a heavy lifting hook stored that can be attached to the main boom of the lorry crane.
The lorry crane is a World Power Erkin ER-265.000 L-10 with a maximum lifting capacity of 70 tonnes. The crane can lift 39.6 tonnes on a 5.7 meter radius, on a 36.3 meter radius is the crane still able to lift 2.75 tonnes. In front of the crane is an hydraulic winch mounted.
The crane can be fitted with maximum 9.5 tonnes of counterweight, a part of that wasn't required on this job. During the transport over the road is the counterweight stored on the deck of the truck.
With the jib is the crane able to lift 280 kg on a 48.2 meter radius.
On this job was the crane busy to transfer big bags with soil. A very sharp and impressive vehicle of Kim Soon Lee!
