Scania P 440 - Hup Meng
This interesting Scania P 440 belongs to Hup Meng from Singapore (SG). It is a 4-axle truck that is fitted with a large lorry crane with year of manufacture 2014.
The truck with 8x4-drive line is powered by a Scania DC13, a 12.7-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 324 kW (440 hp). The two rear axles are powered and both front axles are steerable.
Behind the front axle is the muffler fitted. Behind the second axle are the AdBlue- and diesel tank installed.
Hup Meng has a fleet with multiple trucks, some are fitted with a lorry crane. The company also deploys a mobile crane.
Behind the cabin is a large Palfinger PK 150002 G lorry crane mounted. The lorry crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 40 tonnes. The crane can also lift 25.7 tonnes on a 4 meter radius or 3.15 tonnes to a 23.9 meter radius. The crane is fitted with a hoist winch.
The outriggers next to the crane extend to a width of 9.8 meters. In total is the vehicle equipped with six outriggers that offer enough stability during lifting tasks.
