Scania R 620 - Hoysan
This sharp Scania R 620 belongs to Hoysan from Singapore (SG) and was used for the transport of rail profiles. Because the transport is only allowed to drive on the road under escort was waited for a short while along the road.
The truck is this sharp Scania R 620 with 6x4-drive line. The 3-axle heavy duty truck is powered by a 15.6-liter Scania V8-diesel engine with a power of 462 kW (620 hp) and has a torque of 3,000 Nm. The truck is allowed for train weights of 250 tonnes.
The ballast box has a total mass of 18 tonnes and can be removed too. Sometimes is this truck also used with trailers attached to the fifth-wheel.
Behind the cabin are the diesel tank, hydraulic oil tank and multiple compressed-air tanks mounted. Behind the front axle are the muffler and AdBlue tank mounted.
On this side are compressed-air tanks, the battery and a storage compartment made behind the front axle mounted. The reinforced bumper is also fitted with a coupling.
Attached is a 10-axle Cometto modular platform trailer. The trailer exists out of a four and six-axle module that are attached to each other.
The cargo are rail profiles, each with a mass of 1.3 tonnes. In total is the combination loaded with 80 profiles, a cargo with a total mass of 104 tonnes.
