To transport the counterweight and the outrigger pads of the Grove GMK5220 was M.J. van Riel from Tilburg (NL) using this Mercedes-Benz Actros 2657 with 6-axle Nooteboom ballast trailer.
It is a 6x4 truck that is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, an 8 cylinder diesel engine with 15.9 liter stroke and 571 hp. That is the heaviest engine that was available for the Actros MP1, that was built between 1996 and 2003.
The ballast trailer is a 6-axle Nooteboom OVB-102-06 with year of manufacture 2003. The load capacity is 66,4 tonnes.
Behind the front axle are the muffler, compressed-air tanks and battery made. Behind the cabin is a storage compartment made.
On this side is the diesel tank behind the front axle installed.
With the trailer are 60 tonnes of counterweight, outrigger pads, a heavy hook block and some lifting tools transported.
