This sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4160 of Unitec Spezialtransporte from Bad Sassendorf-Lohne (DE) stood parked with an impressive cargo in front of the doors of a large cement factory in Almendingen (DE).
The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a 15.9-liter 8-cilinder diesel engine with a power of 600 hp. Both rear axles are powered.
The short wheelbase and the equipment tower is matching with the Actros 4160 trucks from companies from the Big Move group, like Bloedorn, Geser and Gutmann. Behind the front axle is a small storage compartment made.
Behind the cabin is the open equipment tower with bended tank installed, so the gooseneck can swing in front of the tank. Above the tank are the AdBlue tank, compressed-air tanks and storage compartments made. Left is the large exhaust positioned.
Attached is a Faymonville MegaMAX low loader in 2-bed-4 configuration. This is the biggest combination of the company.
The cargo is a Komatsu HD875 dumper that was used in the mines of a cement factory. The dumper goes through Rotterdam (NL) to Spain. The transport to Rotterdam by road will require three nights.
The cargo is 5.15 meters wide and 4.4 meters high.
The mass is around 65 tonnes, the combination can be loaded with maximum 71 tonnes.
A very sharp combination!
