Mercedes-Benz Actros 4160 - TAS Logistik
TAS Logistik from Coswig (DE) stood with this sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4160 parked in the harbour of Bremerhaven (DE).
It is a very compact 4 axle truck that is able to transport weights up to 200 tonnes. The short wheelbase takes care of a very small turning circle. The truck has 600 hp.
The set-up behind the cab exists out of a big bended diesel tank, making it possible for the gooseneck to swing over. Next to the tank is a large standing exhaust mounted. Above are a large storage box and some airbarrels mounted. The truck is not equipped with a WSK or a turbo coupling.
Pulled is in this case a 5 axle Doll semi lowloader. Normally is the truck with an 8 axle (3-bed-5) lowloader from Nooteboom on the move.
The load is a (well packed) drive train of a Senvion windturbine. Mass is 57 tonnes. Dimensions are 7.2 x 3.0 x 3.2 meters (L x W x H).
A very nice combination. Since some months is TAS Logistik also owning a new Mercedes-Benz Actros 4163 in the same colour.
