Skaks from Rødekro (DK) is using this sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4152 with 9 axle low loader to mainly transport crane parts between wind turbine projects.
This truck is powered by the lightest execution of the Mercedes-Benz OM 473 LA, a 6 cylinder diesel engine that supplies here 517 hp. These engines are also used in the Actros xx58 and xx63 series.
Behind the first axle is the large Euro 6 muffler made. A smaller wheelbase is without special modifications not possible, this it he smallest wheelbare that can be supplied by Mercedes-Benz.
Behind the cabin are a large diesel tank (900 liter), hydraulic oil tank, battery and some air barrels made. Enough space is left for e.g. storage compartments.
A detail of the large Nicolas gooseneck.
Attached is the Nicolas low loader in 3 bed 6 configuration.
Noteable is the short bed, that is made to transport the slewing part of Total Wind's Krøll K1500L luffing tower crane.
This truck is equipped with the 2.5 meter wide BigSpace cabin.
Behind the front axle are on this side the AdBlue tank and a small storage compertment made.
The combination is loaded here with a jib piece of the Krøll K1500L and was driving between two construction sites.
A very sharp combination!
Closing with a small overview of the construction site with at the right the Krøll K1500L that was erected using 500 and 300 tonne cranes.
