During the open day of Richi from Weiningen (CH) stood this sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 2648 with 6x4-drive line parked inside the yard.
The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA, an 11.9-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 350 kW (476 hp). On this truck are the first and the second axle driven. The first and last axles are steerable, that makes it to a very maneuverable vehicle.
The vehicle is primary used to transport self-erecting tower cranes, a part of the counterweight is then loaded on the box on top of the rear axles. Below the box are some storage compartments made.
Behind the front axle are the muffler, the battery and some compressed-air tanks installed. Behind the cabin is a Fassi F425XP lorry crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 12 tonnes installed.
On this side is the large dieseltank behind the front axle installed.
Attached is a Liebherr 65 K tower crane as a trailer, the crane is 14.25 meters long and weights about 19.6 tonnes.
