To transport the counterweight and the outrigger pads of Paule's Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1, is Paule from Stuttgart (DE) using this sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4155 with 6 axle flatbed trailer.
The 4 axle Actros comes from the MP 2 series, introduced in 2003. In 2004 the engines were updated to meet the Euro 4 and 5 standards. With these engines is AdBlue used to clean the exhaust gasses. The AdBlue tank is mounted between the first two axles. The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a V8 diesel engine with 551 hp.
On this side of the truck is the muffler made between the first two axles. The two rear axles are driven.
Behind the cabin is the large equipment tower built, with the hydraulic oil tank for the trailer hydraulics, a large diesel tank, storage compartments, the battery and some airbarrels. In front of the tower are more storage compartments made.
The equipment tower is covered with coverson the side. Because no torque converter is used, an additional cooler is not required.
Attached is a 6 axle Faymonville flatbad trailer with the last four axles steerable.
The trailer is loaded with a small container, 20 tonnes of counterweight, the counterweight base slab with frame of 28 tonnes and the four outrigger pads on a box with lifting tools.
A very beautiful combination!
