In the spring of 2015 was Kübler from Schwäbisch Hall transporting a ship from to harbour of Heilbronn (DE) to its final destination Friedrichshafen (DE). Because the ship couldn't reach its destination over water, the job was given to the specialists of Kübler. The transport will take one week, here we see the transport after the first night below Heilbronn.
The pulling truck is this imposing Mercedes-Benz Actros 4160 with 8x6 drive line. For the transmission is a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA 15.9 liter V8 diesel engine with 598 hp care. The truck is modified by Titan, a pusher axle and a WSK torque converter were built in by Titan.
On the fifth wheel is a counterweight box mounted to give the truck enough pressure on the driven axles.
To push and brake the transport was at the rear a MAN TGX 41.680 also with counterweight box attached. The transport has an overall weight of 230 tonnes.
The ship has a mass of about 100 tonnes and was loaded on a 20 axle modular trailer made by Scheuerle. The ship is 32 meters long and 6 meters wide.
Because directly behind the cabin a large hydraulic tank (250 liter) was made on Kübler's wish, wasn't it possible to add the typical Titan flaps behind the cabin. Between the first two axles are the muffler and some storage compartments made.
Transports up to 250 tonnes can be pulled as well pushed by this strong truck.
Behind the cabin is a large equipment tower built. At the bottom a 900 liter diesel tank, above the battery, airbarrels and a cooler for the WSK 400 torque converter. In front of the tower are some storage compartments made.
