Mercedes-Benz Actros 4158 - Kahl Schwerlast
This sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4158 of Kahl Schwerlast from Duisburg (DE) was on a short brake along the German motorway 6 near Hockenheim (DE). The combination exists out of a 4-axle truck with a 6-axle trailer.
The truck is this sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4158 with 8x4-drive line. The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 473 LA, a 15.6-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 425 kW (580 hp).
The truck is fitted with a heavy coupling so that the truck can be used also with tower trailers.
Behind the cabin are the large diesel tank, the hydraulic oil tank and multiple compressed-air tanks installed. The sides are nicely covered with the flaps. Behind the front axle are the AdBlue tank and a storage compartment made.
On the other side is the large Euro 6 muffler behind the front axle installed.
Attached is a 6-axle trailer with covers, mostly used to transport weather sensitive cargos like steel coils or shafts.
This combination can be loaded with cargos up to 69 tonnes. The covers are adjustable up to 4.45 meters in height and 4.6 meters in width. The length of the trailer is approx. 13.5 meters. The first two axles of the trailer can be lifted.
