A very sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4155 of Holleman from Jilava (RO) stood with a large drilling rig parked along the Autobahn A61 near Bedburg (DE).
This company Holleman was founded as part of the Holleman Holding BV from Breda (NL), a company active since 1945 with more than 200 trucks and 70 cranes. The romanian department was founded in 1997. Today this company is partly owned by the German company P. Schwandner Transport & Logistik GmbH.
The 4 axle Actros comes from the MP 2 series, introduced in 2003. In 2004 the engines were updated to meet the Euro 4 and 5 standards. With these engines is AdBlue used to clean the exhaust gasses. The AdBlue tank is mounted on the other side between the first two axles. The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a V8 diesel engine with 551 hp. On this side is behind the first axle the muffler mounted.
Behind the cabin are a large diesel tank, hydraulic oil tank, battery, airbarrels and a storage compartment made.
Attached is a Goldhofer STZ-VP in 3-bed-5 configuration. The bed of the low loader is 7 meters long and 4 meters extendable.
A detail of the 3 axle dolly. In Germany is it not allowed to load the cargo overhead the cabin of the truck.
The load is a sharp (and new) Bauer BG 24 H for Franki Foundations. This drilling rig is in transport 19.2 meters long, 3.5 meters heigh and 3 meters wide. His transport weight without drilling head and counterweight is still 59.3 tonnes.
A very beautiful combination!
