Mercedes-Benz Actros 4160 - Hegmann Transit
This sharp combination of Hegmann Transit from Sonsbeck (DE) stood loaded in front of the gate of Liebherr in Kirckdorf an der Iller (DE). The combination exists out of a 4-axle tracktor with a 7-axle low loader.
The truck is a Mercedes-Benz Actros 4160 with 8x6-drive line. The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a 15.9-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with 600 hp.
Behind the cabin are a large diesel tank, the hydraulic oil tank, battery, compressed-air tanks and a storage compartment. Behind the front axle are the air filter and the AdBlue tank installed. An additional cooler is missing, so this truck can be used for train weights up to 150 tonnes.
Attached is a 7-axle Nooteboom EURO-PX low loader in 2-bed-5 configuration. We've seen this trailer here before, with another 4160 van Hegmann.
The cargo is a new Liebherr LH 60 C material handler. The Liebherr is 13.6 meters long, 4.86 meters wide and 3.9 meters high. The transport mass is 54.25 tonnes.
On the driver's side are the muffler and a smalls storage compartment behind the front axle made.
A very sharp combination!
