Mercedes-Benz Actros 2655 - Glass
A sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 2655 of Glass from Mindelheim (DE). This construction company has an own production for precast concrete elements and is using a sharp own fleet with trucks, mainly from Mercedes-Benz, to transport the elements to the construction sites.
It is a truck with 6x4-drive line, both rear axles are powered by the Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a 15.9-liter V8 diesel engine with 551 hp. The torque of 2,600 Nm is reached at 1.800 n/min.
Behind the cab are a safety frame, a diesel tank and a storage compartment made. Behind the front axle are the muffler, battery, compressed-air tanks and a small storage compartment made.
On the other side are another diesel tank and the AdBlue tank installed.
Attached is a 3-axle Goldhofer semi low loader. The cargo is an oversized precast concrete beam.
A very sharp combination. Glass is using multiple of these Actros 2655 trucks.
