This sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4163 of Felber Transport GesmbH (short: FTG) from Sinabelkirchen (AT) stood parked along the German highway 9 short below Berlin (DE). FTG is owning since 2017 two of these sharp trucks.
The truck is a Mercedes-Benz Actros 4163, a 4-axle truck with 8x4-drive line. The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 473 LA, a 15.6-liter 6-cylinder line engine with a power of 460 kW (625 hp).
Behind the front axle are the AdBlue tank and a storage compartment installed.
The truck is equipped with a heavy tow coupling, the truck can also be used to tow trailer (or dollies).
Behind the cabin is a large equipment tower installed including the diesel tank, oil tank, compressed air tanks and coolers for the radiator and hydraulic oil. This truck is fitted with a turbo-coupling and can be used for train weights up to 250 tonnes.
The truck is also fitted with a reinforced bumper with register coupling.
On this side is the large Euro 6 muffler installed behind the front axle.
Attached is an interesting trailer, a Faymonville CombiMAX, composed out of a gooseneck with 2- and 4 axle wheel bogies which are connected by an extendable beam. The possibilities with this CombiMAX system are almost never ending because of the many components available.
The cargo is a large box which was on the move to South Korea, the box is 8.63 meters long, 4.54 meters wide and 3.23 meters high. The mass is 47.5 tonnes.
A very sharp combination!
