This sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 2643 of Eschbach from Bad Schönborn (DE) stood with an oversized cargo parked in Augsburg (DE). The combination exists out of a 3-axle truck with a 5-axle trailer.
It is an Actros from the first series, that was produced between 1996 and 2002. The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA, an 11.9 liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 315 kW (428 hp).
Behind the front axle are the muffler, compressed-air tanks and the battery installed. Behind the cabin are the spare tire, diesel tank and a storage compartment made.
On this side is a large diesel tank installed behind the front axle.
Attached is a 5-axle Doll SE5 semi low loader, the trailer has a maximum mass of 65 tonnes with cargo.
The cargo is the base machine of a Spierings SK2400-R, a tower crane on crawler undercarriage. The base machine weights 52.5 tonnes, is 16.86 meters long, 3.49 meters wide and the combination is approx. 4.15 meters tall. Eschbach is deploying multiple cranes of this type.
