Mercedes-Benz Actros 3358 - BKV
BKV from Barneveld (NL) is using this sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 3358 with 7-axle trailer to transport the base counterweight for their Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1.
The Mercedes-Benz Actros 3358 has a 6x4-drive line and is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 473 LA, a 15.6-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 425 kW (580 hp).
Behind the front axle are the AdBlue tank, the battery, two compressed-air tanks and a diesel tank installed.
Attached is a Nooteboom OVB-95-07, a 7-axle flat bed trailer with a length of 16.8 meters. The trailer can in the Netherlands be loaded with maximum 70 tonnes of cargo.
The trailer is loaded with four outrigger pads, 30 tonnes of base counterweight, the winch frame of 21.5 tonnes and a container. The cargo is loaded into frames so that the position is always correct on the trailer (because of axle loadings) and the loading and unloading of the trailer is much faster possible.
On this side are the Euro 6 muffler and the second diesel tank behind the front axle installed.
