This sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4165 of Spedition Bender from Freudenberg (DE) stood parked along the highway 61 with an oversized cargo. Bender operated minimum three differnt Actros 4165, but in 2020 are they replaced by new Arocs 4163.
The heavy haulage truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a 15.9-liter V8-diesel engine with a power of 653 hp. Both rear axles are powered. The truck was modified by Titan from Sulzbach (DE) for the heavy job; installation of the equipment tower behind the cabin and the reinforcement of the chassis and bumper.
Behind the cabin are the large diesel tank, the hydraulic oil tank, compressed-air tanks, the batterzy and the large cooler for the Voith turbo coupling. Behind the front axle are the AdBlue tank and the air filter installed. At the rear of the chassis is a heavy tow coupling mounted, so the truck can be used to to trailers with a ballast box installed.
On the other side are behind the front axle the muffler and a storage compartment made.
Attached is a 10-axle Goldhofer Arcus-PK semi low loader. The trailer is extendable between the first two and rear eight axles.
The cargo is an oversized steel construction.
A sharp combination by Bender!
