Bau-Trans, location Vaduz (LI), is using this very sharp and tough Mercedes-Benz Actros 4165 with 8x6 drive line. The truck was parked with a 9 axle modular trailer on the border between Germany and Austria near Lindau (DE).
It is a heavy haulage truck that is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a 15.9 liter V8 diesel engine with 653 hp. The engine spreads it's power over 3 of the 4 axles (the front axle is also driven). This truck is modified by Titan, the base is a 6x6 truck where they added a non-driven pusheraxle in front of the two rear axles.
Behind the first axle are the muffler and a storage compartment made.
At the rear of the chassis is a heavy coupling made to tow trailer as a ballasted truck.
The truck has a reinforced bumper so it could also push or brake heavy transports.
Behind the cab is a large equipment tower made with a large diesel tank, hydraulic oil tank, airbarrels, bateries and a large cooler. The tower is finished with the sharp flaps at the side.
Attached is a 9 axle Goldhofer THP modular trailer, existing out of a neck, 4 axles, intermediate sections and 5 axles.
A very sharp combination of Bau-Trans, a subsidiary company of Felbermayr.
