This attractive Mercedes-Benz Arocs 4163 belongs to Bau-Trans from Lauterach (AT) and was parked with a heavy load on the 7-axle trailer in the parking area at Liebherr in Ehingen (DE). On these photos, the vehicle is only 5 months old.
The truck is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 473 LA, a 15.6-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 460 kW (625 hp). This truck has an 8x6 drivetrain, with the first and the last two axles being driven.
The Euro 6 exhaust silencer is mounted behind the front axle.
Behind the cab, the large diesel tank, hydraulic oil tank, additional engine cooler, battery, storage boxes and compressed air tanks are mounted.
Such transports are only permitted to travel in Germany in the evening after 19:00. The driver therefore still had to wait a few hours.
On this side, an additional storage box is mounted behind the front axle. A number of small storage compartments have also been made between the wheels.
