This impressive MAN 35.463 was used by Verbeek from Hoofddorp (NL) to pick-up the Hitachi KH100 of Van den Berg from the construction site. In 2010 was Verbeek purchased by Van Santen from Haarlem (NL).
The truck is powered by a MAN D2876, a 12.8-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 343 kW (460 hp). The truck is kept very short and has a day cabin only. Behind the second axle are the battery, compressed-air tanks and the Euro 2 muffler.
Attached to the truck is an imposing 4-axle Nooteboom ODBAZ-57 low loader.
The cabin of the truck is kept as low as possible for long overreaching cargos like crane booms. The cabin is slightly inclined as well and the flash lights are installed on the sides of the cabin. Behind the second axle is the diesel tank installed.
The Hitachi KH100 has a transport mass of approx. 30 tonnes.
The combination is now on the move to the next construction site! A very sharp combination of Verbeek, a company that doesn't exists anymore, this was the heaviest combination in the company, the largest crane was a Liebherr LTM 1080/1.
