MAN TGS 40.480 - Van Vliet
During the Bauma 2019 was Tomar, a manufacturer of trailers for rough terrains, showing this combination with two tipper trailers and a MAN TGS 40.480 tracktor of Van Vliet from Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel (NL).
Those trailers are produced in Russia and can be loaded with approx. 96 tonnes of cargo.
The truck is this imposing MAN TGS 40.480 with 6x4 drive line. This truck has 16-tonne rear axles and a 9-tonne front axle.
Behind the front axle are the muffler, battery, an compressed-air tank and the spare wheel installed.
The truck is powered by a MAN D2676, a 12.4 liter diesel engine with 480 hp. This is an Euro 2 engine and is meant for the export outside Europe.
Between the axles is a 590 liter diesel tank made.
