MAN TGS 35.500 - Tieman
In 2018 took Tieman from Schagen (NL) this sharp MAN TGS 35.500 truck crane into operation. It is a 4-axle truck with 8x2-drive line.
The truck is powered by a MAN D2676, a 12.4 liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 373 kW (500 hp). On this truck is only the thrid axle powered. The truck is coloured in the sharp colours of Tieman.
The space between the axles are filled with storage compartments. Behind the front axle is the AdBlue tank installed.
On the other side is the large diesel tank installed. Behind the lorry crane is also a large storage compartment made, on top is a 12-tonne lifting beam stored.
The truck has a 4 meter loading area. The area can be extended by another two meters. It is also possible to install a fifth wheel on top of the loading area, so that the truck can be used with trailers also.
Behind the cabin is a Fassi F990RA.2.28 lorry crane with jib installed.
Here is the loading area extension attached to the chassis, the extension is 2 meters. Below the loading area is 1.8 tonnes of counterweight mounted, to give the crane an improved load chart over the cabin.
The crane can lift maximum 21.5 tonnes on a 3.55 meter radius or 3.255 tonnes on a 19.85 meter radius. The outrigger base of the crane is 8.5 meters.
Over the jib is the capacity maximum 3 tonnes. On maximum radius of 31.7 meters is the crane able to lift maximum 815 kg.

The truck is mostly used with this 3-axle trailer. The trailer is double extendable and can be loaded with 20 tonnes.
