This sharp MAN TGX 41.680 of Schmidbauer from Regensburg (DE) stood with a heavy cargo parked along the German motorway 6 near Hockenheim (DE).
The truck is this MAN TGX 41.680 with 8x4-drive line. Both rear axles are powered by a MAN D2868, a 16.2-liter V8 diesel engine with a power of 500 kW (680 hp).
The truck is equipped with a cardanic fifth wheel and has a tow bar coupling so that the truck can also be used as a ballasted truck.
Behind the cabin are a 900 liter diesel tank, a 300 liter hydraulic oil tank, compressed-air tanks and a large cooler for the hydraulic oil. The truck is equipped with a WSK 440 torque converter. In front of the equipment tower are multiple storage compartments installed. The truck can be used for train weights up to 250 tonnes.
Attached is a slightly older 6-axle Goldhofer low loader in 2-bed-4 configuration. The low loader is composed out of modular components.
Loaded on the bed is some older transformer. Notable are the four hydraulic jacks in the corners of the bed, most probably this can be used to adjust the height of the bed once (additional) axles are attached to the bed.
