A sharp Liebherr LB 28 of Züblin from Stuttgart (DE) stood on a large construction site in Ulm (DE) to make a large wall out of drilling piles.
The undercarriage is 5.9 meters long and 4.7 meters wide. The drilling rig has an operational mass of approx. 96 tonnes.
The rig is powered by a Liebherr D 846 A7 diesel engine with a power of 469 hp. The diesel engine powers multiple hydraulic pumps.
The leader has a maximum height of 29.65 meters and can be tilted 15 degrees backwards and 5 degrees forwards and lateral to drill piles.
In the leader is hanging a Liebherr BA 280 rotary drive with a maximum torque of 280 kNm at 9 rpm. The maximum diameter during drilling with guide tube is 1,500 mm and without 1,900 mm. On the leader are the 25-tonne kelly winch, 10-tonne hoist winch and a 20-tonne pull down winch installed.
The leader head is hydraulic tiltable to reduce the transport height.
