This sharp Liebherr LB 16 of JMS RISI from Rapperswil-Jona (CH) stood on a construction site near Sennwald (CH) to drill piles for a new construction.
The rig's year of manufacture is 2010.
The rig is powered by a Liebherr D 934 A7 SCR, a 180 kW (241 hp) strong diesel engine. The engine powers in total five hydraulic pumps, two for the tools in the leader, a pump to move the leader, a pump to slew and a pump to drive the undercarriage.
The counterweight weights in total 6 tonnes and has a 3.6 meter tailswing. For the transport over the road is it possible to dismantle the counterweight.
The undercarriage is 4.97 meters long and 3.7 meters wide. For the transport over the road is it possible to reduce the width to 2.5 meters. The tracks are 0.6 meters wide.
The LB 16 can be used with rotary drives with a torque up to 180 kNm. The Liebherr BAT 180 has a mass of 4.9 tonnes. On the leader are the three winches mounted.
The leader has a maximum height of 17.84 meters. The working angle of the leader is adjustable, 5 degrees forwards, 15 degrees rearwards or 8 degrees sideways. For the transport over the road is it possible to fold away the leader head to reduce the transport length.
A very sharp rig of JMS RISI!
