This Hitachi PD100 of CSC from Singapore (SG) was used for heavy pile driving. It is a pile driving rig based on a 50-tonne crawler crane with an original leader from Hitachi.
The rig is powered by a Nissan PD604, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 112 kW (152 pk). The engine powers two hydraulic pumps to move the functions. The undercarriage is 5.49 meters long and 4.3 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be adjusted to 3.3 meters.
In the leader is hanging a heavy hydraulic hammer.
The leader could be removed also and replaced by a lattice boom, in that case it's a 50-tonne crawler crane.
The leader has a maximum length of 33 meters. On this job was the leader only 24 meters tall.
The rig has in total 15 tonnes of counterweight with a 4.5 meter tailswing. On top of the counterweight is a large power pack mounted to drive the hydraulic hammer in the leader.
A very interesting piling rig of CSC!
