This sharp Bauer BG 39 of Keller from Singapore (SG) was used to pre-drill with auger for soil compaction. This rig has a maximum total mass of 180 tonnes.
The undercarriage is 6.46 meters long and 5 meters wide. For the transport over the road can the width be reduced to 3.7 meters. The crawlers can be dismantled to and have a mass of 15.5 tonnes each.
The functions of the drilling rig are powered by four hydraulic oil pumps, which are powered by a 433 kW-strong CAT C15 diesel engine. The diesel tank has a volume of 800 liter.
The drilling rig is here fitted with 29.4 tonnes of counterweight, that has a tailswing of 4.6 meters. On top of the superstructure is the 38 tonne main winch installed. This winch must be removed for the transport over the road and has a total mass of 7.8 tonnes including 140 meter of hoist rope.
The drilling rig is fitted here with a 23.3 meter long leader to bore holes. The leader can be adjusted 15 degrees backwards and 5 degrees sideways and forwards.
In the leader is hanging a Bauer KDK 390 S rotary drive, with a maximum torque of 389 kNm at 8 rpm or 78 kNm at 46 rpm.
